Brainstorming

Today We have brainstorming session by Badrinatha. Burli he is one of the B V B Engineering student Hubli and also our IT module instructor . His teaching is very well and very active person today also we have his session but it was totally different from our daily class activity. In this session I learned our inner power and to express our views and it was very thoughtful class.
Today class important thing was one person how should think about thoughts, perception, and important thing is interpretation and creating the story, One picture will say thousand words instead of thousand words story this type of pictures I wrote and I interpreted my about my pictures how these will say some thing.

Advocacy

S.R. Hiremath

Mr.S.R. Hiremath is a founder of IDS (India Development Service). He has completed his bachelor degree in Hindi called Visharada from Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Dharwad. He got second rank in Visharada and went to United States for higher studies and continued his job career and stayed up to 10 years. He got inspired from books articles, such as freedom at midnight, lord mount batten, sarvagna’s triplates and Schumaker’s.

He started an organization called “India Development Service”. It is a non-profit organization working for social and economic development of India. These sectors organization covers – preventive health and health education, environmental awareness, joint forest planning, management wasteland development and sustainable agriculture etc.

Advocacy:

In Indian system Government has not provided any kind of proper approach for problems. For finding solution if social entrepreneurs are working in society they should have their own organized mechanisms for it. While working calculated risk should be managed by leaders.
“Be a change don’t think change outside”(1)

The tool for change is advocacy, the method is ‘identifying problem which is related to particular community’ and make it as centric issue, aware that community. With the support of that community advocacy procedures should move further. While working with community Media involvement is necessary to reach the decided advocacy goal.

Gandhian and Einstein theories have introduced in advocacy. The Satyagraha tool is helpful to reach advocacy goal and it solves people problem.
Advocacy is a tool for social entrepreneurs for approaching social problem and peace fully using this tool is more effective and remarkable.

Achievement motivational training

Introduction: Achievement motivational module is very needed thing to social entrepreneur’s because every time is operant condition to entrepreneur, in this time how to cope with unrealistic and realistic thoughts . so for achievement motivation should teach to us.

Achievement motivational module was started from treasure hunt like what I have neighbor those collect it was very interested all fellows presented . After session was story writing I wrote 6 story about situation image it is also one of the mind creativity session.

Ring toss: It is goal setting game here three rounds is this game teaching to how set the goal and after setting this goal how can reach this goal learn from this game.

Risk taking: Risk is challenge for every social entrepreneur but most of social entrepreneur ‘s are taking moderate risk because it is calculated, it’s for self and others and it came from experience, environment so for there is no loss most of time success is 70% merely 30%loss will happen ,but high risk is unrealistic it is more depend on luck it can be full profit or loss. Low risk for typically self development there is no loss and anxious only full success can expect from this risk.

Motivation: in this motivation 4 types of is there.

Power motivation: our ability to influence to work and controlled all activities by me, convince to people for this work and impress.

Affiliation motivation: It is support to building with people, will take care and concern of others and living love with people.

Achievement motivation: it will seek every activity unique and task oriented with competition to self and others and this achieve is long term .

Extension motivation: this is for people concern motivation it has every people should successful and developed.

Achievement imagination: In this topic achievement is very important, here how to reach goal regarding this goal feeling are associated with goal these are may be positive or negative, goal anticipation also same and need this goal is very important otherwise we can’t any success, for this goal activity is need and accept our effort is their any necessary we can take help from others and in this goal success circumstance problems will come we should find problems and analysis the problem these are personal problems or world problem then will solve and achievement thema is very important without thema we can’ expect goal achievement.

Gender

Introduction: According this gender in our society till now we don’t have proper understanding, several people, community, country do not follow this gender. As per concern where is gender discrimination there is no development, for all things since early days several organization and person trying to make change, but till no we can’t expect more results. Now a days we are seeing this gender discrimination in our society, family, home, office most of in every places, now a day’s gender issue is also one of the big issue in the society.
Module description:
Gender: It means this one of the biological change, it’s not a single man or women did rules. Here men and women don’t not same, there is some bias like women are not learning school, she will do only do home work, not suit for hard work. Typically it’s constructed by social and about gender several people, several culture thinking way will different and also endeavors. This gender shows an in our action, attitude, thoughts.
Gender sometimes will control our expression, thoughts and it will choose any action good or bad, taking decision also may be or may not be good or bad. Totally it’s like an assumption. Gender concept can learn from society, family, office, neighbors, or by friends, caste, this is not coming from by birth.
Sex: Merely it shows biological identification of male and female in the society.
Eradication of gender: Gender is spreading very huge level, in each place it’s happening at the same it’s not possible of eradication. We must avoid from our mind after we will think about how to change this then only possible and whenever we using in talking we our words start from he, him this like and whatever do the work we first put male data, name any one we should change this type of attitude we can use from she some time it will robust although first we should learn after we will convince other people.
My learning’s: Before attend this session I have small meaning and little bit confusion now I have clear idea about gender and sex, where it’s happening and what are the causes and how to stop this gender discrimination all these things I learnt by this session.

Logical Framework Analysis

Introduction: Logical Framework Analysis tool is very important in every project and very needful thing .Because of every project before implementation we need how to implement this project ,what is our goal ,what is the object and what we done activities in this area and who are beneficiaries and after complete this project what are the outputs . So all these things we have in our proposal . It should have every project so this module thought to us Mr. Prakash .Bhat very clearly. As a social entrepreneur whatever project implement before we need LFA otherwise sometime our project will cross our objectives.

Module description:

· Means of Logical Framework analysis: Logical Framework analysis means this is one of the tool in project proposal it looks like a table and it shows what is our goal, objectives, activities and after complete this project what we expect from this project. Logical Frame analysis module most of organization using, it was developed in united states and all donors expect this module from organization.

· Needs of Logical Framework analysis: Logical Framework analysis because of mainly it is showing our organization transference and quality of work, before this thing we need very must because of we should write our plan, plan, goal, activities, outputs, monitoring and evaluation and operation system all these things so for it is very easily understandable things, and it is showing organization system and discipline and work transference therefore it is very needful to organization. Without LFA we cannot expect more quality output, LFA provide summary of project ,stakeholders, beneficiaries, donors, staffs and it should be final, incase if its need changes their that expect more considerable reasons it also will happen outside reasons, we strongly believe our project and find hard work. We always remember one thing in LFA this is not shows hole project detail here, this is shows only key factors of the project.

Every LFA before writing it should have narrator story means this is project goal ,objectives, outputs, inputs, activities of project described in Logical Framework analysis.

1. Goal: This goal is not only organization goal or country goal it will world goal it may be possible only from organization solved or contribute solve this problems.

2. Purpose: It is related to goal and it will do contribute to reach the goal and it is effect on output, any project we should do activities these activities helped to reach the purpose.

3. Output: In this LFA what we have goal that for what we have purpose so for we expected out from activities through input . It means it is related to activities and purpose what done activities this project their we can expect output that is called output it is fulfill our purpose.

4. Activities: This is very important in LFA without activities we cannot expect output, purpose, goal so every project implementation in activities more important in this project, what we are doing to whom and this is actual task.

5. Indicators: It means what we have plan about implementation in this project like purpose, this purpose how much will do successful by before end of this project and what are the outputs expect this project, how much possible and time and what we are doing activities this project how much beneficiaries will sustainable, time all these things will expect from this indicators it should be very unambiguous.

6. Verification: It is very important in LFA because of its shows till now what we reached and how much means whatever we implementation after completion this project how much reached it is important, it we can verify from several types like operation documents, expert surveys, monthly report, interaction with beneficiaries, satellite, organization reports.

7. Assumptions: It should be comes from external factors, whatever you have assumption that assumption should external things like internal things and several times it is negative but where we shows in LFA we should convert in positive. It is also external means out of project purpose, outputs and activities.

8. Inputs: All these happened by what we put on project that is called inputs its materials, human power, technology what we invest on this project that is inputs.

· Learning’s: This module it is very helpful to me because of before implementation every project we should do have Logical Framework analysis is very important, what we have goal, purpose, objective, activities, assumption about these we will carefully otherwise what I am doing and some my goal will not reach and most important thing is it helpful in our organization transference and quality of work, how to reach the goal about this will suggest to me.

Agriculture

Agriculture is our country back boon also we are doing very careless because of we are not interest in agriculture but we don’t know agriculture is one of the best job for us, specially young stars all are migrating from rural to city for job purpose but there is lot of opportunity .

From last three days I learnt lot of things about agriculture generally I did not know about these things

Ø largest rice food producing in the world,

Ø Largest milk producer and World leader in dairy animal products

Ø 2nd largest producer of vegetables

Ø 5th in area and production of potatoes

Ø 2nd largest onion growing country

Ø Produces 41% of world’s mangoes, 23% bananas, 24% cashew nuts, 36% green peas and 10% onion

We have a lot of land and human power although we are not sustain in agriculture.

In our state Total geographical area is -190.50 lakh hectares in this land Cultivable land is - 123 lakh hectares but now Cultivating area is - 116.70 lakh hectares and irrigation land is 31 lakh hectares (26.5%) . In Karnataka total having 73% small and marginal formers now there are cultivating land is 34.5% hectors.

Now we are using more technology and highbred seeds because of more yield but when we using more chemical compost than our land is loosing fertility. And how we can do the livelihood activity in this area , what are the crops we can grow learnt these things.

Climate is very important in this agriculture because some crops are growing from climate like Jawar, cotton so climate how changing what are the reasons and why its happening these all things I learnt from this session.

I learnt about low expensive input sustainable agriculture (LIESA) it was very effective to me because of today formers are using more fertilizers for more yield after using what will happen they don’t know but LEISA is very needful and helpful to formers.
